Hi, my name is Dawid. I was born and raised in Poland, a country rich in history, culture, and stunning landscapes. From the charming medieval streets of Kraków to the breathtaking Tatra Mountains, Poland has always held a special place in my heart. It’s where I spent my childhood, formed my earliest memories, and developed a deep appreciation for creativity and hard work.

Since 2006, however, I have been living and working in the beautiful country of Ireland. Nestled on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, Ireland is a land of lush green landscapes, warm-hearted people, and a deep-rooted artistic and musical heritage. The transition to a new country came with challenges, but Ireland has become my second home over the years. I love its welcoming atmosphere, stunning natural beauty, and the sense of community that makes it such a special place to live. From Poland’s rich traditions to Ireland’s vibrant culture, I feel fortunate to have experienced the best of both worlds.

I’m happily married to a wonderful woman who supports me in everything I do, and together, we are the proud parents of two energetic and curious boys. Being a dad is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and they never cease to inspire me with their imagination and zest for life.

I work full-time in a pharmaceutical factory, where I contribute to the important task of producing medicines that help improve people’s lives. It’s a challenging job that requires attention to detail and dedication, but it also gives me a sense of purpose and fulfilment.

Why graphic design?

Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve been fascinated by graphic design. I remember spending countless hours sketching, experimenting with colours, and dreaming of bringing my ideas to life. That passion never left me. Today, I’m fortunate enough to have a small home office where I can unleash my creativity and work on my designs. It’s my sanctuary — a place where imagination takes shape and where I can fully express myself.

Why 'Designs by King'?

Since my name translates to "King" in English, I thought—why not build a brand worthy of the title? - Designs by King. I work on a variety of design projects, from logos and business cards to website design. Some of the brands I’ve created logos for include Aoife Raftery Racing, Gleoite Homes LTD, and Creative Island.

My real passion? Poster design.

Designing posters allows me to express my emotions, bring my ideas to life, and create something truly unique in the moment. While I also design greeting cards, t-shirts, and more, my heart is set on crafting stunning posters that make an impact. I hope you love my designs as much as I love creating them!
